Waste Management

SCOPE

          The college had adopted various waste management strategies that are effective and sustaining to maintain the campus clean and hygienic.  Staff members and students are encouraged and channelized to adopt healthier practices towards managing waste materials and maintain a pollution free campus.

The following list summarizes the overall goals of the waste management assessment:

1. To evaluate the proposed activities and determine the type, nature, and anticipated volumes of waste to be generated; 
2. To identify any potential environmental impacts from the generation of waste at the site; to recommend appropriate waste handling and disposal measures / routings in accordance with the current legislative and administrative requirements; and, where practical, to classify waste material.
